QR CODES

QR codes that show which signs and flyers work

Every listing website comes with its own QR code. Put it on your yard sign, flyer or window card. Trulisted counts each scan, marks the leads that came from it, and shows the numbers to you and your seller.

Where your listing QR code points

Trulisted picks the most useful page for each QR code on your flyer, email and reel:

  • Your published listing website, when there is one: photos, facts, the originals and the lead form
  • Your Original Photos page, if the listing website wasn't published when you made the flyer and it shows edited photos
  • Your own website otherwise, so people can still reach you
  • A short line under the code says what a scan opens, such as “Scan for photos and showings”

How QR scan tracking works

The QR code adds a small tag to the link, so a scan is counted apart from ordinary visits. The Listing website tab shows views, visitors, QR scans and leads. A buyer who scans the sign and books a showing appears on your Leads page marked “via QR”, and the lead alert email says so too.

Page counts are cookieless, and buyers never have to sign up to use the page.

QR codes on flyers and AB 723 disclosures

When a flyer or email shows an edited photo, its QR code also leads to the original photos. A published listing website shows the originals on the same page, so one scan covers both the marketing and the link California's AB 723 asks for. Remake the flyer, email and reel after you publish, so their codes point to the page.

If you later take the listing website offline, its address and QR code show “not found” until you publish again. The photo labels still carry their own short link to the originals.

Show sellers what the sign is doing

Sellers want to know if anyone is looking. Seller updates turn page views, QR scans, showing requests and open house RSVPs into a short report you can email or share by private link. Sellers see counts only, never buyers' names or details.

Pick the last 7, 14 or 30 days and add your own notes. It takes a minute, and it answers the “how's it going?” question in writing.

// COMPLIANCE

Built to help you follow the rules

When edited photos are shown, the QR code leads to a page with the unaltered originals, which is built to support the original-photo link California's AB 723 asks for. Check your own board's rules too. Scans are counted without cookies, and sellers see totals only, never a buyer's name or details. Anyone who contacts you through the page gives consent first, and marketing opt-in is separate.

// FAQ

QR codes: questions agents ask

How do I get a QR code for my listing?

Publish the listing website from the Listing website tab. The QR code appears there, ready to download as a PNG.

Can I track how many people scan my sign?

Yes. QR scans are counted separately from other visits and shown on the Listing website tab and in seller updates.

Is the QR code big enough for a sign?

The download is a large PNG, so it scales up for print. Test a scan from a few steps away before you order the sign.

Does the QR code stop working?

It works while the listing website is published. If you take the page offline, the link and QR code show “not found” until you publish again. The photo labels keep their own link to the originals.

Is the QR code free?

Yes. It comes with the listing website on every plan.
